SPI is a quick, easy, and powerful method for calculating the depth of magnetic sources.

Its accuracy has been shown to be 20% in tests on real datasets with drill hole control. This accuracy is similar to that of Euler deconvolution, however SPITM has the advantages that it produces a more complete set of coherent solution points and is easier to use.
